The Lesson Fifteen

Skill: Vocabulary - School Objects
Teachers: Gladys Galvez, Lourdes Rodriguez and Felix Lopez.

To started the class, teacher Gladys asked student to stand up and make a circle. Then, Gladys explained the activity that was a game with a song. The song was called "head, shoulders, knees, and toes". I saw all the kids enjoying with the song because they had to touch the part of the body that the song said.

In the presentation, Felix began to introduce the new vocabuary about School Objects. It was really interesting because he used the realia to explain the topic. Almost all the kids payed attention and it was an amazing method to catch the attention to the kids. Also, Felix asked students to repeat one by one the name of the objects.

After, students started to play a hot potato, and the student who got the hot potato had to answer what object teacher Lourdes showed.

In the production, Gladys asked students to form three groups.  The groups had a one teacher that asked student about the vocabulary, but also, the students were able to speak alone without any teacher helped of the teachers.
At the end, Gladys asked students to draw her/his favorite object in a page. When students finshed to draw, they had to paste on the board.
